Our Approach

Our clinical focus is about holistic health, well-being, growth and healing as well as problem or disease prevention, rather than on a “mental illness” orientation. Our approach is predominantly cognitive-behavioral, directive and solution-focused. We begin with a “Humanistic Transpersonal” orientation. Empathy is essential; our clients are the primary experts concerning their goals, values and needs.

Our organization is fortunate to work with dedicated and caring professionals who give of their time, talent and resources to ensure that we can integrate mental and physical health and serve our community for decades to come.

Therapy

We offer

individual, couples, family, and group counseling. We work with court involved, those who are seeking disability, and or recovering from alcohol and drug addictions. Also, individuals suffering with ADHD symptoms. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing techniques.

Medication Management

We offer a holistic approach to medication management providing a non-dispensing front-line evaluation before referring to our dispensing staff. This allows us time to screen and test for a history of symptoms while securing other data such as blood work and pain management clearance if necessary.

Testing

We offer personality and intelligence testing and evaluations such as the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS), and many others. Also, we incorporate Biofeedback to treat symptoms of anxiety, depression and trauma; as well as EMDR.
