Dr. Aliya Fonseca has over 25 behavioral health care experience in the areas of administration, funding, clinical supervision, and direct patient care experience. Additionally, she’s authored a national bestselling book, Waking Up on the Toilet. Dr. Fonseca has established a nationwide apprenticeship program to address the critical need within primary care, to assist with linking patients to behavioral health providers. She unites licensed providers, and clinical students in training to deliver quality, comprehensive, psychiatric care. Through her leadership, the clinic empowers people to flush, heal, and overcome their mental health challenges. Lastly, she’s implemented an effective system of training by maintaining supportive community partnerships, research, and funding projects.

Perez: Dr. Job Perez is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of clinical supervision experience. I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of clinical and supervision experience. I’ve worked at Kaiser and Inland Empire hospital for 13 years. My treatment preference is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused to address his clients needs. However, I am flexible and trained in DBT and ACT models as well. I’ve worked extensively with substance users and those suffering with OCD and depressive symptoms. Today, I am consultant with the clinic and a clinical supervisor of Masters level Interns. I enjoy a holistic lifestyle and working with indigenous groups to better understand their mental health needs. At Waking Up on the Toilet it is great place to train because of our combine focus on professional development and monthly trainings. Every day, every person in the world is waking up on the toilet and I appreciate the opportunity to be apart of that leadership community.

Regina has over 20 years of healthcare experience including leadership, direct patient, and customer service skills. In her spare time she enjoys her family and travel.
